If you don't know me: This is NOT me! Mine is bigger. I do some shots of myself, jacking around with new equipment or such what what. They are under "self portraits" and some shots of me are scattered around in the galleries, though quite rare (unless a partner is shooting with me). But just for the record, wanted to say mine is a lot bigger than that guy's. heh.

I'm an LVN (LPN). I hold an AAS in EMS, which means nothing at this time as I've sold out to long term health care for higher hourly pay at a local nursing home. I'm an ACLS instructor (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) which I've maintained and still enjoy doing my part in classes about one weekend every other month. My medical experience starts in 1991 as a soldier medic in the regular Army, then civilian paramedic, prior to taking up nursing.

I'm old enough, but not too old. I got the motorcycle fever when I was 18 and I've been at it 18-19 years. I've tasted of the pavement with my flesh and it has tasted me. I have tasted of the dirt as well. I have broken bones in the 2 separate crashes, both freak accidents (one in 2003)... I have ridden with a broken clutch hand... I'll tell the stories some time on this site. I laugh at myself and you can laugh with me (and perhaps learn something from my mistakes or oversites). Both crashes have humorous moments. Even my first time on a scooter is funny as hell, though you'd have to have been there to get the biggest kick out of it.

For many years I worked overtime and holidays and gave up much sleep... now I keep my hours and work obligations down so I may enjoy life before I'm too old. As evidenced by my site here, that enjoyment is primarily photography & biker stuff. I am my own man and photographer, but contribute my photos to East Texas Motorcycle Enthusiasts and the local Texas Thunder H.O.G. Chapter from their respective events. Contributions to local, state and national/international publications may be in the cards.... who knows? Watch out, Andrew Brosig!

Ride on!
Kevin

p.s. My Theme Song, chosen way way back and still true (except for 'thumb in the air' and broken promises [I'm a promise keeper]) I always have left out that part, in my head and heart... interpreting 'ride on' as having a scoot....

Ride On by AC/DC

It's another lonely evening
And another lonely town
But I ain't too young to worry
And I ain't too old to cry
When a woman gets me down
Got another empty bottle
And another empty bed
Ain't too young to admit it
And I'm not too old to lie
I'm just another empty head

That's why I'm lonely
I'm so lonely
But I know what I'm gonna do -

I'm gonna ride on
Ride on, standing on the edge of the road
Ride on, thumb in the air
Ride on, one of these days I'm gonna
Ride on, change my evil ways
Till then I'll just keep dragging on

Broke another promise
And I broke another heart
But I ain't too young to realize
That I ain't too old to try
Try to get back to the start
And it's another red light nightmare
Another red light street
And I ain't too old to hurry
Cause I ain't too old to die
But I sure am hard to beat

But I'm lonely
Lord I'm lonely
What am I gonna do -

Ride on, got myself a one-way ticket
Ride on, going the wrong way
Ride on, gonna change my evil ways
Ride on, one of these days
One of these days

Ride on
I'm gonna ride on
Ride on, looking for a truck
Ride on, keep on riding
Riding on and on and on
