OK, I went a little psycho here, but one can do that when one has one's own website.
Some years ago, a group of people raised a little hell about the newest courthouse monument to our veterans. Seems they saw something in their minds they thought was a penis and testicles. That's all they saw. I'm sure these people are perverts. These are the people that see phallic symbols everywhere and consider them evil and are themselves the most despicable actual perves around. They probably have wet dreams about the Washington monument.
Natives of Nacogdoches probably remember this, especially those that pay attention to the news. Just to demonstrate how perversion or pornography is often not objective, but in the mind of the beholder, I decided to shoot the courthouse and its monuments and surroundings. I shot all kinds of angles in different lights and even threw my shadow into some of the photos. I used the flash and shot without flash. I shot faraway and up close. Perhaps you can see all the perversion in these pictures. Perhaps you can see how prolific perverse erections are in our society, even under the nose of the police station and the courthouse, the seat of justice itself.
I can remember when the new monument was so young, it didn't even have pubic hair. It's a bit of a stubby though. I didn't get any shots of it before they nubbed it, when it was long and pointy and nicknamed 'the ketchup bottle' by malefactors. But even then it didn't look like a penis. I'd forgotten about that until a surfer reminded me about it ( Just goes to show the benefit of photographic records due to flawed memories ) and I admit that before they nubbed it a pervert could be more legitimate in saying what they were saying, but doesn't change that they were full of it and just needed to be slapped around a little to come to some lucid sensibility.
While I'm at it, here's an extra special "HOO-AH!" to the 10'th Mountain Division, especially 1'st Battalion, 22'nd Infantry.... "Regulars by God!"
And an added note to the general public since it is not general knowledge: The Coast Guard has seen much badass action overseas. We have had a lot of heroes in the Coast Guard. One fellow I knew from the nursing home I work at. He never told anyone but me (at the nursing home) about all the beach landings he did during WW II, in a personnel carrier. He still had nightmares sometimes. The day he died, we lost one more good man. By the way, he was a biker too. He kept his Indian for a long time.
